Canonical quantization and the spectral action, a nice example

چکیده

We study the canonical quantization of the theory given by Chamseddine-Connes spectral action on a particular finite spectral triple with algebra M2(C) ⊕ C. We define a quantization of the natural distance associated with this noncommutative space and show that the quantum distance operator has a discrete spectrum. We also show that it would be the same for any other geometric quantity. Finally we propose a physical Hilbert space for the quantum theory. This spectral triple had been previously considered by Rovelli as a toy model, but with a different action which was not gauge-invariant. The results are similar in both cases, but the gaugeinvariance of the spectral action manifests itself by the presence of a non-trivial degeneracy structure for our distance operator.

Using Exciting and Spectral Envelope Information and Matrix Quantization for Improvement of the Speaker Verification Systems

Speaker verification from talking a few words of sentences has many applications. Many methods as DTW, HMM, VQ and MQ can be used for speaker verification. We applied MQ for its precise, reliable and robust performance with computational simplicity. We also used pitch frequency and log gain contour for further improvement of the system performance.

An Effective Superstring Spectral Action

A supersymmetric theory in two-dimensions has enough data to define a noncommutative space thus making it possible to use all tools of noncommutative geometry. In particular, we apply this to the N = 1 supersymmetric non-linear sigma model and derive an expression for the generalized loop space Dirac operator, in presence of a general background, using canonical quantization. The spectral actio...

Impenetrable Barriers and Canonical Quantization

We address a conceptual issue of reconciling the traditional canonical quantization framework of quantum theory with the spatially restricted quantum dynamics and the related spectral problems for confined and global observables of the quantum system.

The Tangent Cones at Double points of Prym-Canonical Divisors of Curves of genus 7

Let η be a line bundle on a smooth curve X with η^2=0 such that π_η, the double covering induced by η is an etale morphism. Assume also that X_η be the Prym-canonical model of X associated to K_X.η and Q is a rank 4 quadric containing X_η. After stablishing the projective normality of the prym-canonical models of curves X with Clifford index 2, we obtain in this paper a sufficient condition for...
